"GROWING DEEPLY IN LOVE" - WWFC Couples Retreat '08

 

"Growing deeply in love!", was the theme of the Couples Retreat that took place last Nov. 15 and 16 at the breezy Cloud 9 Resort in Antipolo City. Indeed such theme blended well with the great mood of the close to 50 couples that attended this momentous and much-awaited occasion.

Pastor Albert and Sister Barbara Clavo had full energy as they shared on "Loving Communications (When, Where & How to Express?)"and "Re-energizing your Marriage". Their personal testimonies touched the hearts and minds of the attending couples who mirrored their own experiences with those shared by the Clavo couple.

The couples found the interactive approach taken during the sessions very engaging and effective. The husband and wife team was very generous to allow the couples to use their powerpoint material in our future undertakings.

In the evening of Saturday, the couples felt God's moving as they renewed their marriage vows in an atmosphere of love and solemnity.Pastor Raymund with God's wisdom and annointing captured the couples unspoken pleas in his talk, "Just once more!". The night was capped by a romantic dinner with some couples doing special song numbers and others, sharing their testimonies.

Nov. 16 was not just another Sunday for the couples. It was a spirit-filled Sunday where God's moving brought the couples to another level of spiritual experience. It was not just the husband and wife relationships that were rekindled and strengthened but also our personal relationships with God. We were humbled by the annointing and gift of prophesy God has endowed our speaker, Ptra. Mila Mercader. She has indeed been a vessel of blessings for us all.

God is good and to Him be the glory!
